Watoto Arts supports the important work of Clowns without Borders

In our quest to make an even bigger difference, we have entered into an exciting partnership with Clowns Without Borders , an organization dedicated to spreading joy and creating psychosocial support for children in conflict and disaster-affected areas around the world. The partnership kicks off on World Laughter Day itself!

Clowns Without Borders' work is based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Article 31: Children have the right to play, rest and leisure.

With the help of professional clowns, circus artists, actors and musicians, performances, circus and play activities are arranged. This creates a refuge from the difficulties of everyday life and a chance for children to just be children again, even in the most challenging circumstances.

Right now, Clowns Without Borders is working in, among other places, Ukraine, Palestine (both in Gaza and the West Bank), India, Brazil, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sweden and many other places where laughter and faith in the future are needed.

This collaboration is a unique opportunity for you as a customer to not only give a gift filled with meaning and care to a child, but also to contribute to global efforts to spread joy and hope to children who need it most.
