Watoto is praised - AGAIN!
A few days ago we were in Brussels and had to share the podium with big toy companies like Lego and Mattel! Incredible!
Toy Industries of Europe (TIE) presents an award every year to toy manufacturers who go the extra mile for children and the environment.
This year, we received that award in the Diversity & Inclusion category with the following justification:
"The judges recognized Watoto Arts strong commitment to diversity & inclusion and social impact. They liked how the toys not only empower children but also women and mothers by providing jobs locally"
We are incredibly proud and happy about the award, we work hard with Watoto and have great ambitions to build a sustainable company that not only creates inclusive toys but also employs women locally.
