We are proud to launch our very first DIY kit; now you can crochet your own Watoto Mini doll! This is the result of a unique collaboration between Watoto Arts, Tröstemöss, and Mayflower.

Who the partners are

Tröstemöss
A non-profit organization consisting of crochet enthusiasts with their hearts in the right place. For several years, they have been crocheting cute figures for children receiving hospital care. The Tröstemöss figures provide comfort and security to the children and facilitate the work of healthcare staff.

Mayflower
A Danish yarn company with a long tradition of providing high-quality yarn to both enthusiasts and professionals. Their yarn is used in the Watoto Mini DIY kit and is carefully selected to provide a beautiful and durable result.

What does the DIY kit contain?

  • Yarn in selected colors from Mayflower

  • Digital crochet pattern created by Tröstemöss, based on the Watoto Arts design

  • Option to add stuffing and a crochet hook

  • You can choose between 4 different dolls: Bo, Nina, Leo, Mira

Why crocheting is good

Research shows that handicrafts can reduce stress, increase concentration, and even alleviate pain. When your hands are in motion, your thoughts can rest, which is why crocheting is a great tool for a meaningful break in everyday life.

Who is the DIY kit for?

This kit is perfect for you if you:

  • Enjoy crocheting, whether you are a beginner or experienced

  • Want to create your own Watoto Mini doll

  • Are looking for a relaxing activity filled with creativity
