September 26 marks the JIS Day – Järva in Cooperation’s big family day at Tenstahallen. We at Watoto Arts are proud to participate together with Salesforce and contribute to ensuring more children have the opportunity to own their own doll.
From 150 employees to 150 children
The collaboration began during an activity at Salesforce, where 150 employees packed a Watoto Arts doll each. They chose a doll, wrote a personal greeting to the child who would receive it, and then wrapped the gift.
Salesforce has sponsored a total of 150 dolls that will now be distributed to children during the JIS Day. It is a concrete example of how companies and local organizations can work together to create real social value.
Now the dolls will meet the children
The JIS Day is organized by Järva in Cooperation and the Gålö Foundation. During the afternoon, 21 associations and actors will gather at Tensta swimming and sports hall to offer free activities for children and families.
Children who participate in five activities will receive one of the sponsored dolls, along with the personal greeting from a Salesforce employee.
For us, this is about more than just distributing dolls. It is about ensuring more children have access to play, a sense of security, and a doll they can identify with, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
Refer a family
Do you know a family whose child would love to have their own doll but hasn't had the opportunity to buy one? Tell them about the JIS Day. We at Watoto Arts will be there and look forward to meeting the children for whom the dolls were created.
