The TIE Awards is an annual distinction presented by Toy Industries of Europe, the European trade association for toy manufacturers. The award highlights companies that make a positive difference for children, society, and the environment through their products and initiatives.
This year, we had the honor of receiving the award in the Diversity & Inclusion category, with the following citation:
"The judges recognised Watoto Arts strong commitment to diversity & inclusion and social impact. They liked how the toys not only empower children but also women and mothers by providing jobs locally."
This award is a confirmation of our hard work and our vision. At Watoto Arts, we strive to build a sustainable company that not only creates inclusive toys but also contributes to social change by employing women locally.
