Soft doll Nova with Upside-Down Heart
Nova is a soft fabric doll from Watoto Arts, developed in collaboration with Henrik Wahlström and Upp och Ner. The doll has dark hair buns and a green polka-dot jumpsuit with an embroidered upside-down heart on the pocket.
Let Nova become part of the child's doll family. Combine with another doll or a baby doll and create your own stories during play. With different doll clothes, Nova can also get new outfits.
A heart that shows support
The upside-down heart is a symbol of an open and accepting attitude towards mental illness. It shows support for those who are struggling and signals that those who want to share their diagnosis have allies around them.
For every Nova doll sold, 30 SEK is donated to the organization MIND. The doll was developed in collaboration with Uppochner.nu.
Nova's story
“My name is Nova and I love playing the piano. Pressing down the keys and hearing the sounds that flow out of the instrument gives me an amazing feeling; everything else disappears and I get absorbed by the music. When I play the piano, I am super focused, but when adults want me to do something else, it can be difficult for me.
I think it's boring to sit still and eat food, and some dishes are even scary, and I don't dare to taste them. Sometimes when adults talk to me, I can zoom out; I don't hear what they are saying because I am in my imagination.
I love being outdoors, where I can run and climb as much as I want, and that makes me sleep well at night.”

All our products are manufactured in our workshop in Solna. Here, our seamstresses combine solid craftsmanship with modern machinery to create carefully crafted quality products for children.
Personalized with embroidery
Give away a personalized doll with the child's name, date of birth, or a short loving greeting. A thoughtful gift for a christening, naming ceremony, birthday, or to welcome a new sibling.
The text is embroidered on the doll's pocket in a soft, cursive style with light-colored thread. Choose, for example, "Beloved," "Big sister," "Grandma's darling," or "I love you." A heart symbol can also be added.

Recycled polyester
A lightweight and soft filling for those who want a vegan alternative. Included in the doll's base price.
Natural sheep' s wool
A soft and pliable filling that gives the doll a bit more weight and a natural feel.

Is it possible to wash the dolls?
Yes, the dolls are washable. We recommend hand washing at 30° C followed by gentle drying on a flat surface. Avoid tumble drying. This applies to dolls filled with both wool and recycled polyester.

Does the wool smell like sheep?
The wool is carefully and non-toxically washed. It has almost no scent, or a faint, pleasant smell if you stick your nose right into the loose wool.
Do you have boy dolls?
Yes. We have dolls that many choose to call boy dolls, for example Elias and Adam. At the same time, we believe that it is the child who decides who the doll is. All our dolls can be dressed, named, and personalized. The important thing is that the child is allowed to reflect their own imagination.
